I suggest you go for B.Tech rest all are diplomas such as DNS and others etc. If you have completed your 10+2 then should go for B.tech if your interest is in Marine Engineering at least after that you will have an undergraduate degree in Marine engineering. Now

as per my knowledge 4th year students can appear the examination and the score is valid for 3 years 

Minimum qualification is final year in Btech or you must have completed Btech.
