If someone is pursuing Mtech from much higher IITs like IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, there are chances MTech guys could get selected. Although these firms strongly believe in strong programming skills irrespective of discipline of branch, still they do prefer hiring from CS and IT branch.

The Lucknow University is a Government owned Indian research institute. The university does provide BTech courses and the mode of admission is through UPSEE counselling primarily.
