Both courses is same but the entrance examination for both courses is different. B.Tech is the most growing field in the science and technology. I give you the details information about your question. B.Tech after 12th means :- After completing 12th the B.Tech course is duration of 4 years and
as per your percentagea nd your marks in entrance exams you will easily get admission in b.tech and in any stream so need not to worry , you have scored good marks. just strat applying for diffrent colleges. all the best.

For BU:
It depends which seats remain empty, soetimes people do get good colleges in spot and sometimes not.If you are aldready getting a good college go for it, although waiting isn;t harmful.Its up to you to wait or to freeze.
