You can't do so, you can change your branch in a particular college i.e. in the same college but you can't change your branch as well as your college, the college will give you a fresh admission in the first year.

Gap years are never an issue for getting a job in PSUs, you are definitely eligible to get a job in PSUs. You need to score good in B.Tech and you will get a job in PSU.

Yes, they will return your original documents. You will get your original documents . Once it verified your documents completely then it will return. They return your original documents after 5 to 6 months. Your Migration Certificate, TC and character certificate will be submitted till 4 year of b.tech.
