In first year of college you will learn all the subjects such as physics, chemistry,mechanics and all other subject like law for engineer,Etc.
In first year you only have 1 to 2 subject such as programming with C .
Seriously you will learn about your core branch from second year

hello dear,
firsly i want to clear one thing to you is that don't compare any branches because all the branches have good future but it is depend upon you that what you can do innovative in branch.
but my point of view IT field has great scope in future
It changes with time to time.
As PEC is topmost college of Punjab so cutoff for it is high.
As per JEE your marks should be in top 20 percentile or more than 75 percent marks.
For PEC your jee marks should be high.

Well, it depends on your outlook. For many the University stands among the best but truly with the name that it holds and the word to mouth reviews it seems that the environment may not be good enough for many as University lies among the regions where the drugs supply
