This is very good to know that you are so serious about your Gate preparation but as per my view it is better to start your preparation in your 3rd year because first 2 years of B.Tech is the ideal time to make all your basics concept clear and strong.
In JEE MAINS there is an age limit to apply for Btech course.
Students who are born on or after October 1, 1993 are only eligible to apply for JEE Main.
But to apply for btech, you should have PCM/B in your 12th. And if you don't have these courses
CLAT and Btech are 2 different streams. In case you are interested in law studies then after 12th you can pursue 5 year integrated course in law that is BALLB but if you are interested in Btech then there are different exams to prepare and appear for.

You have to say 2017 in your year of passing. Since you have a backlog, you must have submitted final year marks sheet of any semester.
SABAIEE does offer aeronautical engineering. Which state do you belong to? See Satyabhama is in Tamilnadu so TNEA should be the pathway for Govt institutes in the state. However how many offer aeronautical is to checked. Let me know which state you belong to and we can work out the
The criteria may vary college to college and if you want to get admission in Indian Maritime University then there is no such concession available as they only provide reduction for female candidates for all four programs like B.Tech (Marine Engg),B.Sc. (Nautical Science),B.Sc.(Maritime Science) and DNS.
US is better than Europe and other asian countries, try for various good and well known universities there
