If you want to take admission in private engineering college then you should apply for MUOET (Manipal Entrance Exam), VITEEE, SRMJEEE, AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam), BITSAT Etc.

Prepare hard for JEE Main & JEE Advanced and try to get admission in IITs & NITs, also fill all the above

First appear in CAT entrance exam and try to score a good percentile. Academic records matters but if you have good score in CAT and have extra curricular activities then you will definitely get the chance.

It is difficult to predict cut off marks for admission in AMU University for B.tech and B.arch Course as it depends on difficulty level of paper and number of appearing students in AMUEEE exam.

Yes,you can get job if you have good score in graduation & good rank in gate & also age is important criteria.Passed out year is not considered.

@Priyanka Kashyap: mam i do not get my answer.In that link there is mentioned that PSU also recruits candidates on the basis of their GATE Score. When PSU recruits through GATE exam, it directly calls candidates for personal interview and group discussion

I completed my B.E in metallurgy can I give GATE in mechanical? if I can then can I get job as a mechanical engineer in Public sector unit?

Yes. You can give the Gate in any stream. After a B.Tech in Metallurgy, you can give the Gate in Mechanical but probably face a problem when you apply for different PSUs. However, you can do M.Tech in a different stream.
