Fee structure and average package depends on college if you'll go to private colleges like bits Pilani or bit mesra or amity university then fees will be more than 12 lakhs there but in government colleges and some lower private colleges the fees is lower. Placements depends totally

During your gate preparation your subjects will be just same as that of mechanical engineering but during paper you will write the subject code as MN which shows specialization or MTECH in mining .
