Sorry but as far as I know NITs and IITs do not give lateral entry admissions. If you want to change your NIT you can surely give mains the second time but you have to repeat the first year in second NIT too. There's no other way out .

See the rank u have secured is not good enough for u to bag a seat in the good collegges like NITs , IIITs or GFTIs for pursuing ur higher studies in the field of ur interest under btech career. U should be going for state colleges and
