As per last year cutoff ranks at GEC Raipur, the closing rank in OBC Category for B.Tech in Civil Engineering was exactly 1000. So with a rank of 3090, you have very low chance to get Civil Engineering at GEC Raipur.

I have to bring into your notice that most of B.E/Btech colleges across India provides admission based on ranks obtained in Enterance test marks. However , except Tamil Nadu, all other states expects you to write an enterance exam and get through it.

Nikhil, the B.Tech in JECRC is okay according to passed out students.

The college has good placements. But only the CS / IT / ECE branch have good placements. About 85–90% of students get placed in some or the other company. Students have to work hard if they are opting

From your rank we can say that you do have a chance of securing a seat in YMCA,Fariabad for btech.Even though oit is difficult to get computer science or information technology branch there is some possibility of you getting mechanical,civil,instrumentation or electrical branch.
