the classes for lateral entry starts after approximately 2 months of the main course class starts. your rank is good. there are a few chances of getting computer science there. but you will get either information technology or electronics.

According to your rank in jee mains you have very less chance to get seat in computer science engineering or information technology in IIIT HYDERABAD as your rank is bit high for this college.
Lovely Professional University is one of the finest university that I know of. Be it academics, placements or extra-curricular activities.and I m saying this because one of my friend has done B.Tech from LPU only and right now she is working with Amazon.
