You can ask for your sons 8th semester marksheet in his respective college/university.

Don't panic if only your son hasen't got his marksheet probably some of his documents are not submitted.

Dear Lavanya, you need to appear for APECET if you want to study un AP. It is a 3 hour online Entrance Examination conducted for Diploma holders and B.Sc Mathematics graduates. APECET will be conducted by JNTU, Anantpur on behalf of APSCHE for admission into 2nd year Engineering and Pharmacy

Yes, Diploma students can study btech after getting diploma. There's a scheme of lateral entry in btech. The diploma students get admission to the 2nd year of the btech course.
