Shivang Dubey 4th Jun, 2020

Hey

Sorry but Indian Institute of Management does not provide any program/course for Hotel Management. IIMs are Management institutes and have programs mainly focused on Management, Commerce and Finance related fields.

At most IIMs offer Hospital and Healthcare Management program at various IIM. Also some new IIM like IIM Sirmaur offers a PG program, MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management, if it interests you, then you can look to it. For further query ask us, All the best.

Is there any entrance exam for BHM

AJAY KUMAR POLAVENI 21st Aug, 2020

Hello

The admissions to BHM are done through both entrance tests and on the basis of merit. In both cases, personal interviews might follow.

BHM: Eligibility

The basic eligibility for pursuing this course is that the students should have cleared their 10+2 exam from a good school. The school should be affiliated to a board recognized by the Indian government. They should also have obtained satisfactory marks, i.e., the minimum marks as mentioned by the universities individually. Different universities keep different criteria. The range varies from 55%-80%.

BHM: Admission Process

The admission process for the entry to this course varies from college to college. The forms begin to come from as early as December with the entrance tests scheduled from April to July for different institutes. Admission may be procured through an entrance exam, direct admission or lateral entry.

Entrance Exam

Institutes like GD Goenka School of Hospitality and Christ University conduct entrance test for admission to this program.

Under Graduate Aptitude Test ( UGAT ) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) is one of the nationally conducted entrance tests for entry to BHM.

hope this helps

goodluck!
