Hey aspirant
For 350+ mark it will be difficult for a general ews candidate to secure a seat in government bams college. 500+ is minimum needed for getting admission in government college. For general candidate but 450-490 is enough for ews category. Now coming to bhms you have a chance of getting admission in government colleges. Always remember this is based on previous year cut off and this could vary according to level of exam number of candidates appeared, number of seats available etc. For more details refer below link https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp
Hello
UPSC After BHMS
Surely one can opt for UPSC that is civil service examinations after BHMS to pursue career in civil services.
The eligibility age may vary as per reservation criterion ranges from 32 years to 37 years. ( Detail chart is available on official website)
The syllabus remains same for all in preliminary examination while special subjects pertaining to Homoeopathy are supposed to be included in mains.
After homeopathy one can peruse UPSC and can serve in various administration departments depending upon the merit secured. If specific examination opted for particular post then it would be case dependant.
THANK YOU
Dear aspirant !
Hope you are doing great ! If I am not wrong ,then you are asking that how many Marks you have to score in neet exam to get bhms college , so Bachelor of Homeopathic Medical and Surgery BHMS is the most preferable courses by any NEET aspirant. To get admission in a Government college for BHMS course, your score should be above 350 out 720 marks..
If you score 300 out of 720, you have little chance to get BHMS at any government or private medical college although it is quite tough to predict exactly right now as cutoffs change significantly every year.
hope it helps you !
thanks
hlwo aspirant
hope you are doing well
BHMS is a very good option if you wish to go. Many organizations are working in the manufacturing and research field in abroad are requiring the professional in this field. The professionals in this field can work in companies those deal with the homeopathic preparations. After BHMS, you can select higher studies or career according to your wish. Courses like M.D. (Homoeopathy), M.D in (Homoeopathic) (Materia Medica), M.D. (Homoeopathic) (Paediatrics), etc may be suitable for you. M.Sc courses like M.Sc. (Endocrinology), M.Sc. (Epidemiology), M.Sc. (Regenerative Medicine), etc are also good. Otherwise, you can work as Homeopathic Doctor or Consultant in Hospitals or health care centers. Research firms and Pharmaceutical firms are also in need of BHMS graduates. With some experience, one can get the lum some salary like Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50, 000 per month. There is no limit of salary if you have become popular as a good doctor in the society. The BHMS scope is very high in India. It deals with treating illnesses and various diseases with the power of the natural healing process, which results in cost-effective treatment. After completing the BHMS course, the graduates can choose to opt for vacancies in BHMS Jobs(Govt jobs & jobs).
if you look at the countries which have banned Homeopathic medicine, they are France, Spain, Barcelona which are European Countries. If you look at 2017 FDA's public comment in US and Australia, it says that it would strengthen the regulation of Homeopathic products. So there are also Countries which appreciate Homeopathic medicine. This is where you still have hope. Countries like US, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, Canada are few Countries which have good scope for Homeopathy should you be willing to have a career abroad. And the entire Wikipedia page doesn't find a mention of India. So if you have taken admission in BHMS, it should no way hurt your career or opportunities. So do not worry about that.
hope this is helpful for you
best of luck
Yes, if you do an MS just as you would do after MBBS. You need to pass AIAPGET exam with a good score to secure a good surgery seat.
Unfortunately, you can NOT become a surgeon after Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery or BMHS. Be it a normal MBBS or BHMS, no one is allowed to do surgery right after the bachelors degree.
To become a surgeon, you'll have to do Masters in Surgery, which is a 3-year course. After getting this degree, even a BMHS can become a surgeon.
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
You don't have to pay a large amount if you left BHMS for MBBS. This process varies for different colleges. But usually after the document verification you may have to pay a small amount, that is you will not get back the advance fees you already paid for admission. You don't have to worry about that. If you really wanted to quit, you can definitely choose MBBS.
THANK YOU.
