Hello Priya,
As per the CUET guidelines you are supposed to select 6 domain subjects for securing admission in any university!
In case you have any other queries feel free to reach out!
Good Luck!
Dear Student,
You must achieve 280–300 and above marks to be guaranteed success. The Cutoffs are rising yearly, so this year they might be much higher. As far as I can recall, students with UET indexes up to 160+ were contacted for counselling last year in the general category. Therefore, I advise you to attend counselling regardless of your grade, even if you received a lower grade. If you wait patiently at Banaras Hindu University, you might be able to get a seat.
Your admission status won't be determined by your test scores alone. Depending on your rank, you might be able to enrol in the DAVPG college, which is the connected college, with these marks. Call letters have also been issued by the institution, by the way. If you've received it, you must go to counselling and make an effort to get a seat. Sure! You can get admission.
However, you must keep in mind that your percentage will not be calculated like that of an arts student. Marks will be deducted for changing the stream and then more marks will be deducted for choosing a new subject. You have to check whether post all this if you are eligible. If yes, then you can get admission.
All the best for your future pursuits.
Feel free to ask more questions and queries!
Hello Aspirant
Seeing the varying cut-off every year it's really difficult to predict which college can be assigned. In 2019 Gen category - 563 marks & Air 18957. So the expected cut-off will be around 20k all India rank . Expected marks might be around 585+ marks for Gen category candidates. ( BHU)
For admission to BAMS in NIA Jaipur, one needs to score marks around 550, but you can still try in counseling for 2nd round because you have an EWS reservation too.
You can also apply to more colleges like :
Patanjali Ayurved college , Haridwar
Government Ayurved college and hospital, Nagpur
Dr. DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai

Fine arts will be considered as top four subjects in universities like DU, JNU,BHU etc.
Some colleges withhold 2.5% from the percentage obtained using the fine art marks if it is an additional course.
Note that it also depends on the college and the course.
I thus advise you to browse the websites of several universities in order to get information.
Thank You
See your year gap isn't going to act as a barrier when it comes to meet the eligibility criteria for UPSC as candidate needs to pass graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, those in the final year too are eligible to apply, when it comes to age candidates need to attain 21 years as on 1st August of the appearing year, so you can definitely appear for UPSC after graduation or as I mentioned you can apply in the final year provisionally provided you can show the proof of passing the qualifying examination within the prescribed time by the officials.
