bhumikarchie 13th Sep, 2021

Hello aspirant

Hope you are doing great there . See , CET is government college and Silicon is a private institute , therefore fees at CET would be less than silicon . Both the colleges are equally good , but if we compare campus , hostel and food , then silicon is better . Rest all depends upon your branch .

I hope my answer helps

Wish you all the very best!

Is EEE good in Amrita , Bangalore in term of academic and placement ? Is it worth to spend 4 year there for my Son ? Or he wil go for CSE, Kiit Bhubaneswar .

Aditya 3rd Sep, 2021

Hi Sir,

See this is a very subjective question and the final outcome of it should only be based on the interests of your child. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru is surely a better college in comparison to Kalinga Institute of industrial technology as it has been ranked 4th in the nirf university rankings and 20 th in engineering ranks which is way better than 42nd rank of KIIT in terms of engineering.  The academics and discipline of the university is well known across the country and the infrastructure too is mind blowing. The average package here is around 6lpa for EEE.

KIIT is a very costly college but indeed if he is interested in coding and programming you should prefer it as it has good placement records for CSE.

Hope it helps!!

Hi

Since you have mentioned that you belong to Bhubaneswar then that means that you are eligible for state quota

Cutoff varies every year depending on number of aspirants and exam difficulty.

But for last years, cutoff rank for SC category in government medical Colleges in Orissa was between 1310-2222
