If you go for Biochemistry then you may have to study a course named Quantum Mechanics which is a topic of Modern Physics as well as Biotechnology will also have some courses which will require physics. If you don't like physics then also this courses will not irritate you that

M.sc in chemistry is 2  years of duration, total seat intake is 17 at panjab university.

however the eligibility criteria for admission is

a) B.Sc. (Hons School) graduates of Panjab University ,  B.Sc. (Hons. School) in Chemistry from Department of Chemistry, Panjab University.

OR

b) B.Sc. (Pass or Hons.)
