I suggest you to take computer Science Engineering in SASTRA University. Because there is large demand of CSE engineer now days. Its a very fast emerging sector. It is also a highest package offered sector. I am also a CSE engineer and I know it's importance very well.

Sir I got 1081 general rank in btech biotechnology... Sir can I get aith kanpur?

For general the cutoffs in aith Kanpur is 183-477. So maybe you won't be able to get in there with your rank. The scheduled caste cutoff was from 858-1076 in 2018.

But Btech biotechnology (lateral) is having cutoffs from 1172-5920.

Hello Deepak,

Both Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Kanpur and Bundelkhand University, Jhansi are good the fee structures are not very different for 4 years BU will cost you 2.68 lacs and AIT will cost you 2.20 lacs. The placement scenario of both the colleges is pretty dull and negligible.

Both economics and sociology are equally important subjects from the perspective of upsc, they are part of gs syllabus.( English literature has as such no usefulness when thinking from the perspective of upsc

Hi Maria. The eligibility for B.tech biotechnology admission through TNEA counselling depends on the aggregate score. If you have scored minimum of 50%(General), 45%(OBC) and 40%(MBC, DNC, SC, ST & STA), then you're eligible. Also, depending on the cut off marks, a merit list would be released by Anna University

Hey Vedanshi,

I think the scope B.Tech in biotechnology in India is not that great, it's decent. If you're aiming to pursue BioTech then you should try for Tier 1 Colleges like IIT's and NIT's. According to reviews Placement in Bundelkhand University is decent but Biotechnology placement there is not
