For biotechnology, you need to have maths as your main subject along with physics, chemistry and biology. Hence you can only apply for the course if you have maths as your main subject in 10+2.

Hey Shruti, Cut off for GATE in Bio-Technology was about 27.9 marks for general category and 25 marks for OBC.

Whereas last to last year it was about 38.9 marks for general category and 35 marks for OBC category.

Either you manage to get an OBC NCL certificate atleast by the time of counselling or opt out of the counselling because if you have chosen OBC-NCL as your category, the authorities expect your OBC
