Both these branches are good in the HITK however if given a choice, I would recommend that you go for Chemical Enginnering in HITK as it has got a good percentage of people getting placed as compared to biotech and also the packages are nice!

Every branch in engineering have good scope in the future it all depends on your interest and passion. There is good scope for a right candidate.
If we compare the biotechnology with other branches like CSE, ECE and Mechanical then it has low scope.
