see bioinformatics related with biotechnology, mathematics, computer application related with biological data, however in b.tech course the applications and engineering part is more than bsc course. since it is an interdisciplinary course, it has better scope  in masters course, however you are more intersted for job just after passing

see you can not join for master of science course unless you have completed your bsc courses. however after bsc in microbiology you may go for msc courses in biotechnology, bio chemistry, cell biology, microbiology etc. for msc in genetics, candidates need to hold a bachelors degree in genetics
