I have completed my inter by PCM in 2022 now I want to do preparation for NEET please I have heard if I do inter again as biology additional subject than I can appear for NEET bt it is necessary to do inter again as biology additional subject fronm nios can I do it from another board

As you have completed your 12th Board Examination with Subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Maths and not Biology, you have to appear for 12th Re-examination to get included Biology subject in your 12th Board marksheet .

Hi,

The CBSE board has a best of five rule in which your main percentage is decided by one language subject I.e. English and other 4 subjects in which you get high scores. And the remaining subjects becomes additional whose marks won't be added to your main percentage.

Hello Ekta,

To be eligible for NEET, you must have passed your 12th Board with subjects Physics, Chemistry Biology and English as main subjects. Your aggregate PCBE percentage must be 60% minimum , else you will not be eligible to appear for NEET.

My results showed i pass in my 12cbse examination. l have taken 6 subject English, physics, chemistry, biology, IP and maths. But i have Rt in maths ( maths is my optioal subject) .so is it necessary for ne to appear in compartment exam . Can i apply for college despite having RT?

No, it is not compulsory to pass in all the 6 subjects.

One just need to pass in any of the 5 subjects to be considered as pass

If you fail in mathematics then also you will be considered as pass

1. Student must have passed 12th with an aggregate of 50% or above in any stream.

2.  Student can be of from any stream but with  Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
