Is biotechnology a good course to study after 12?

Biotechnology is a great course after 12th if you are interested in the field because the course work is very difficult anywhere in India and specially if you are from a maths background.

But if you are interested in this field I would suggest to not have second thoughts

Gitam University is indeed good for  Biotechnology. It is one of the best private colleges in India. The infrastructure is really good. The faculty members are also good. Plus, the ambience is such that will help you learn a lot about your subject and give you a great exposure.

Hello Aspirant, It totally depends upon your college that the package you will get, if you do B.tech from IIT like IIT Roorkee then here maximum package goes around 20 Lakhs per Annum, and minimum goes around 5 to 6 Lakhs per Annum like 2014 Maximum package of Biotechnology IIT

Hello Aspirant, Both the course are good, but it depends upon from which college you have studied, If you do B. tech from NIT Warrangal then most probably you will get College Placement.

In terms of course, in B.SC Biotechnology you have to study more theoretical aspects and in B.tech

Both trivandrum medical College and Rajiv Gandhi institute of Biotechnology are extensive research institutions. They only offer doctorate level courses. They do not offer any UG and PG courses.

if you want make a career in research field with Biotechnology then you will have to do give a long duration into studies.Since, you did not have Maths in your class 12th, you cant pursue B.Tech in Biotechnology.But you can do B.Sc in biotechnology.
