Rohith, you have a good chance of getting BioTech. in IIT Kharagpur. This is based on your rank and previous year cutoffs. The branch closes at around 3100. But you can definitely get the 5 years course of BioTech there. 


But again it depends on the number of students

No, colleges will admit students who have passed their undergraduate degree with a minimum mark of 50%. If you have cleared the back paper before the admission and having the eligible percentage, you can get admission. Otherwise, try to clear the back paper and try.

There are very less government colleges in upsee having biotechnology branch . unfortunately, there is no biotech branch in KNIT Sultanpur. You can get biotech in private colleges like IMS ghaziabad.
