hai sreelakshmi, i think it was bit difficult to get seat in siddaganga as it was one of top college in kcet but there may be a greater chance of getting biotechnology and chemical. all the best

The eligibility for IIT JAM biotechnology:
• The MSc Biotechnology course is only available in IIT Bombay and IIT roorkee. The candidate must be a graduate in any of the BSc programmes, but should have had math in the 12th standard
• The MSc-PhD dual degree in environmental science

Yes, u have chances of doing mtech in other related fields too even if u have done btech in biotechnology.
It depends upon the college or university you are applying for.
It should be a related field though.
