Are you talking about Sriram Engineering College Chennai? If yes then there is no any course with B.Sc Biotechnolgy on its official website.

Admission to Masters in Biotechnology courses in JNU is done through a Common Entrance Examination (CEE). A 55% marks eligibility is required to appear for the entrance examination.

No,It is not compulsory at all to have mathematics as an essential subject in your class 12th board exams for IITJAM examination.There is no such eligibility criteria for IITJAM exam or for admission in any of the IITs.So don't worry about this.
