Yes you can have your password by going to the bitsat official website and then go to login page and then click forget password.

You will receive an OTP on you registered mobile or email by which you can get your password back.

When it comes to colleges through BITSAT and COMEDK, BITSAT gives you a better option of colleges compared to comedk but chance of qualifying in BITSAT is low, so In my opinion Comedk will be better option to go with as this will provide you better colleges easily.

No there is no direct admission in bits ; only some special ( like topper of state or students of bits school ) is possible to get .

You have to go through BITSAT entrance exam and with this 257 score ; it is not possible to get

In 2018, as per the records, the ECE department in BITS-Pilani (Hyderabad Campus) closed at 298 marks.

For 314 marks you can consider yourself on a safe side to get ECE in BITS-Hyderabad.

As your son's score is at border line ; so there is chances that he may get chemical engineering; civil engineering.

But have some chance to get Mechanical and electronic & instrumentation also ( depends upon other students choices and preferences).

The cut off for electronics and communication,  last year was 314 marks and from last 3 years it's above  300  so you won't be able to get admission in bits.

According to previous year's cut off trends, it is difficult to get admission in BITS Pilani and Goa campus in any B.Tech degree. Although you are eligible for BITS Hyderabad but only in B.E Manufacturing.
