You need to get at least 270+ marks to get biotech branch or some other. So you can not get CS branch with 172 marks.

To become eligible to appear in BITSAT 2018 you need to score a minimum aggregate marks of 75% in pcm in class 12th board exams with having 60% in each subject.

You have to score atleast an aggregate marks of 75% in physics,chemistry and mathematics in class 12th board exams in order to become eligible to appear in BITSAT entrance exam.
If you are selected in BITSAT then you will have to pay some amount of fees for admission and can pay full fees till 2nd week of july.For full information you can visit the below given link:
