Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
AROUND MID OF JULY
In the UK, candidates apply for (most) university courses through the UCAS system. Once this has been submitted, universities for nursing degrees will be in touch to invite candidates to an interview. This can take place as a one-on-one session with a single or several interviewers, could be a group interview with other candidates or could be the multiple mini interview (MMI) which has been used by medical schools for many years and is becoming more popular for prospective nurses.
Aside from the interview process, most nursing schools will test maths and English if candidates do not have GCSEs above a C grade or functional skills qualifications in these subjects.
The academic year for all BITSians starts on the 1st of August. As the first yearites are new to the campus, they are called 2–3 days before the registration day( registration day is the day. where you make your time table of the courses). This is done just to get them used to the workings of the campus and are given an overview of the courses and the teaching methods. The academics start at the same time for all the year-ites..But first years have to come 4-5 days early to get admission, orientation and stuff.. For first years, it's in the last week of july. The academics usually start by 1st-3rd August or something.. Do check up with BITS, Pilani on the exact dates for all the procedures this year..For the admissions, the orientations and stuff..
Hello adnan,
To get top NITs you need to get a rank under 15000,if you are from general category.so its difficult for you to get admission in top 4 NITs,especially in streams like computer science, IT,ece, but may be you can get streams like metallurgical or chemical engineering.
So if you are interested in these fields, you can try.
And also there are many state level colleges who accept the students with low JEE ranks, you can search for them too.
