BITSAT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

 To secure admission under this scheme, aspirants should be the topper from the science stream having taken Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects in 12th. The criteria to be considered a topper will be as follows:

Aspirants should have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in Class 12 exam

Aspirants should have acquired the highest aggregate percentage of marks in Class 12 among all the students who have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects from the Board.

To calculate the aggregate percentage, a student\\\'s aggregate marks should include the marks of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in addition to other subjects which are required to pass the 12th class examination from the Board under consideration.

The marks of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry should be considered in the aggregate irrespective of whether the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects are identified as main/optional/elective in his marksheet(s).

ADMISSION

One needs to take the BITSAT examination and fulfill the BITS Admissions eligibility criteria.

Admissions are done on the basis of score in BITSAT through BITS Counselling

SCHOLARSHIPS

Both are top college.NITs is government college.It is better than BITS Pilani.The grading system is also better in NITs as compared to BITS.You can score better CGPA in NITs if you put some efforts. 

Fee is lower in NITs because it is run by government. 

And it is up to you to choose based on your economic status and marks.

You can get a direct admission to BITS Pilani if you are a board topper. Else, you have to appear for the BITS entrance test.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani is commonly known as BITS and Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is called BIT. Admission to BITS, Pilani is through BITSAT and BIT, Mesra is through JEE Main.

For getting Bits Hyderabad You have to score  around 334  or more marks in BITSAT to get Computer Science. For preparation part  if you are preparing for JEE then you don't have to do separate preparation for BITSAT . Only thing is that you have to do practice for English part because English also comes in the exam. And you should also do practice papers of BITSAT exam so that you can get the idea of exam.

A you can see the students getting marks greater then 300 have increased and the seats are also increasing so this can be off set so least marks for admission in BITS for any program other than Bpharm will be 290+. It cannot decrease to 250's. So the only chance is that you can get Bpharm.

The cutoff trends for pursuing B.Arch at BITS, Mesra based on previous year cutoffs for general category candidates is 2966 closing rank for home state quota and 1150 for other state quota.
