What is the importance of BITS tag? Is it worth not going to IIITD, which has better faculty and curriculum? P.S I currently live in Delhi.

BITS Pilani is outstanding college. It is one of the top private college in engineering.

If you want you can go for IIIT Delhi as it is government college and offers same placements.

You need to score more than 311 marks in BITSAT to get BITS Pilani.

You need to score around 172 marks in JEE Main to get DAIICT college.

It depends on whether you like CS or Chemical. Please look out for your interests. Check out the courses of both the branches. Both colleges offer good opportunities . Decide well.

I scored 312 in Bitsat and have got B.E Manufacturing branch at Bits Pilani. How can I change it to Electronics and Instrumentation?

Vertical transfer from one BE to another is not an easy task . Please don't count on that . Generally you need a CGPA around 9.7 for such transfers.
