BITS Pilani is always a better choice than IIEST shibpur. Plus dual degree you get two pursue two degrees . You can get your BE degree in second year based on your first year CGPA . So you can get your desired branch.

You can apply for both colleges. But upto my knowledge, persuing M.Tech in BITS, Pilani is worth than the another one. Definitely, you'll be in higher position if you opt BITs.

First see your interest , which branch you want .
Then select the college.
For BITS Pilani , check last year cutoffs . The generally increase by 4-8 marks . So see your choices.

The scores of BITSAT 2017 were announced by BITS Pilani on May 19. However, the result of BITSAT 2017 will be announced by BITS Pilani on July 1, 2017. BITSAT 2017 result has two determiners Scores and Admit List/Wait List.
