There are only 3 ways to get Admission in BITS. They are:

• Admission through BITSAT Exam
• ISA Admission through SAT entrance
• Direct Admission to Topper of the board exams.

So these 3 are the only main criteria's in order to get admission in BITS.

BITS Pilani gives admission on both merit and entrance basis. If a candidate has scored first rank in state or central board then she/he is not required to appear for BITSAT.

To give direct admission, the subjects they consider are Mathematics, physics and chemistry. One has to score aggregate
