Hi Aspirant,
There are two perspectives to it. The first is the branch and the second is college. NIT Allahabad is a much better college than BITS Hyderabad. There is almost no comparison between them. And second is a branch, which is your passion.
If your passion is to pursue engineering in CSE, then try for some other NITs. I hope you will get some new NITs. In case you don't get any NITs, then you can go with BITS Hyderabad.
But, if the branch is not a restriction for you, I will suggest you go for Electrical in NIT Allahabad as it is one of the country's finest engineering colleges, and placement is also excellent. In contrast, Electrical is a core branch of engineering and has no fewer opportunities than CSE.
Hope this helps you.
All the best.
Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know the comparison between bits and cse vit.
I would say if you are getting the Pilani campus then undoubtedly you should go with BITS Pilani dual course ,as it has very strong placements compared to vit cse.
But if not getting at Pilani then you can make a choice with vit cse but still goa campus is also good .
Hi,
To get admission into any institute even via an entrance examination , you need to clear your backlogs first. You cannot get into BITS Pilani even by a good score in the entrance examination, you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria which mentions to have pass in all the subjects undertaken. So, clear your backlog first and then, you can get into your desired course.
Hello,
Minimum marks for getting into Bits HYD are :-
CS - 342

The percentage of students placed in 2019 were 82.08%, and their average package (BE & ME) and their average package was 14.86 lacs per annum.
Hope this helped!
Hi! Sadly, BITS cutoffs are finalized at the discretion of the institute itself. Being a private college, the whole procedure is not as transparent as, say JEE's procedure. Nevertheless, keep on a lookout on their website, sometimes they do make changes and you might be able to get the desired course.
My personal example- Last year I scored around 340 marks in BITSAT. Based in previous trends, I assumed the cutoff would be such that I would get Mechanical in BITS Pilani. However, till the last iteration, I did not get it. I was quite disheartened, but at the last moment, in the last iteration, I got the course!
So, keep your hoped up. All the best!
