How to prepare better for BITSAT from the beginning of my INTERMEDIATE 2nd year? Should I prepare IPE along with BITSAT or JEE,IPE,BITSAT at a time or should I pay attention only on BITSAT? NOTE:Joining in BITS is my only goal. Ill leave NITs if I get a rank in BITSAT.

Kamal Kishor Chaurasiya 26th Jul, 2020

Hi aspirant,

BITSAT is the entrance test conducted for admission into BITS colleges namely BITS Pilani, BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad.

If your ultimate aim is to Join BITS then you should prepare first for this. You should give first priority to your BITS preparation.

Additionally, more or less the syllabus of other entrance examinations like JEE and other is same. So you can put attention on that too.

Wish you all the best.

Anurag Khanna 22nd Jul, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned about the course for which you are seeking admission in Birla Institute of Technology and Science so it is little bit difficult to guide you accordingly, but considering your profile you are an engineering aspirant of class 12th so you might be interested in Bachelor of Engineering program. For BE program you have to fill only single application form which is for BITSAT entrance exam.

Detailed admission process for BE program is described below :-

  • Candidate will have to submit application forms mentioning 12th class marks and programme preferences through the official BITS admission website.
  • Than after candidates have to appear for the BITSAT entrance exam from which merit list will be prepared.
  • The merit position of all eligible candidates will be prepared on the basis of their total scores in BITSAT.
  • Candidates will be offered admission based on their merit position in BITSAT.
  • Note that, those candidates who have obtained first rank in their respective board examination are given direct admission. They don't need to appear for BITSAT exam.
