These colleges have very high fees as compared to the colleges through jee mains or comedk or mhcet. But if compared between SRM kattankulathur and bita then bits goa is costlier than SRM University.
The tuition fees of srm University is approximately 2.5L per year and their hostel depends on what you take. There are options available like 2 bed ac or non ac ,3 bed ac or non ac . So considering you take non ac then it would cost you around 1L excluding the mess fees. So the total cost for four years would 18L per annum.
Whereas as in bitsgoa the total cost for four years would be somewhat around 20-21L . Their tuition fees for 1st sem is 1.78L and in 2nd sem is 62k . The hostel and mess are not very costly but there are other amount which is needed to be taken into account.

I can't suggest you about the branch with which you should go for as it totally depends upon your interest. As of course you can't waste your four years studying something in which you are not at all interested. So, you should go with the branch in which you feel the most comfortable.
Now, talking about both the colleges then I guess placement of both the BITS are quite same. The highest package offered at bits pilani is 1.4cr per annum and average is about 10-15lpa.whereas, in BITS GOA the average is offered around 6-10lpa.

To get chance in BITS goa for embedded system or microelectonics they are yet to disclose the cutoff require to get in BITS goa .Minimum graduation you must have 60% or over. As GATE result are yet to come out so the college still not sure about the marks need to get in the college.

The placements have recently taken a huge change for a good in recent years.In last years almost more than 95% placements are provided by the college and the recruiters include top renowned companies like Cisco,Netapp,Samsung etc.Highest package in last year being 30lpa.The college also provides a decent internships to almost every students and is a good college in terms of placements!!

ME Software Systems basically focusses on Software Engineering and other crucial IT Aspects, whereas ME in Computer Science is a more generalized stream, with essense on both hardware and software computational processes as well as programming languages and technologies like AI,ML and Data Engineering. ME in CS at BITS Pilani perhaps has more career scope and prospects.
I think you should prefer RVCE CSE over Instrumentation at BITS Goa. RVCE is one of the best institutes in all over Karnataka for education and research in Computer Technology and Programming, next to IISc Bangalore and NIT Surathkal. The institute has good infrastructure, faculty and employer outlook. Being the located near IT Hubs at Bengaluru further provide impetus to training and placements with most of the Top Companies like Microsoft, Facebook, Intel, Adobe, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, American Express, Accenture, Sony, GE, Airbus, Mercedes Benz R&D, Wipro, IBM, HCL, HPE regularly recruiting from campus, with a median package of almost between 10-12 LPA.
