St Xaviers take 60% from entrance for the admission of BMM and 40% from CBSE boards. I scored 74% in Xaviers entrance and 91.6 in CBSE Boards and my top 5 subjects (excluding Accountancy) is 94% do I have the chance of getting an admission there and by what percentage? please help

Soumya Kaushik 28th Jul, 2020

Hello!

As you said, for BMM admissions, you need a cutoff of 40% in your CBSE results. But realistically, the competitive cutoff is around 80%. Even after this, your percentage is very good, and I would say you have a very good chance of getting into the college.

Good luck with your admissions!!

Hope this helped you!

I am confused b/w Sharda university of greater noida and MJRP of jaipur for my BMM. comparatively which college is best for ug in bmm?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 25th Aug, 2020

Hey!

As per reviews, both colleges provide basic infrastructure facilities to students such as digital classrooms, sports ground, wifi, libraries etc. Also, the faculty members are really helpful and experienced. But at the end it depends on placements, and it must be noted that sharda university has good placement records than mjrp College, also it provides good placement opportunities to students. But bmm course has less placement opportunities than bba and b. Com

Hope I answered your query

Thank you

Sonali saraf 24th Aug, 2020

Hello disha,

Mu forms for admission opens 2 times this year. Aftet the first merit list, registrations opened once again but with the view that now students of second registration will get in to 4th 5th and 6th merit list.

5th merit list released on 17th of august, and i dont think it will reopen again but not to worry if u r once registered with mumbai unoversity than you can ecen apply by going to particular college websites and fill there form, many colleges take end time admissions also.

If you are late and not getting admission in any college try out for mailini kishor sanghvi college, its under svkm portal and good known college.

Thanks. All the best.

any book suggestions for bmm entrance exam?

Garvita 10th Jul, 2020
Hello,
Specifically there is no particular syllabus for BMM entrance, just be in touch with the daily headlines and updated to the latest news. You should have the knowledge of basic English grammar and reasoning.

Still I'm suggesting you to go through the book "mass communication" by arihant publications and "Manorama yearbook".

Hope this helps, all the best.
