The criteria for selection of candidates for campus placement varies from one company to another. Few companies keep a bar on gap in education and few other companies does not keep a bar on gap in education. The permissible gap in between may vary in between 1-2 years depending on the company. The eligibility criteria for BMS college of Engineering for mca course is :

A candidate who have passed Qualifying Examination i.e, any Recognised under graduate examination or equivalent examination with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Application or Computer Programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% (for general merit candidate) of marks taken together in all the subjects in all years of the degree examination is eligible for admission into MCA course.

Entrance exam which is KMT Or PGCET - anyone is mandatory.

Yes, COMEDK test scores are accepted by BMS colleges of engineering for admission to B.E. programmes. Candidates who have completed 10+2 with a grade of 45 percent or above and have passed the KCET or COMEDK entrance exam are eligible for the B.E. programme. Yes some engineering colleges take admission based on management quota where your rank and marks doesn't matter and you get admission based on the donation you give to the college.However the intake of students for any college depends completely on the admission administrative and are a subject to change.So it would be better if you contact the administrative of the college based on the availibility of management quota and they will tell you the charge they are taking this year for donation.
