Hi kalpana
No it will not be tough. The counselling will be based on the rank you secure in the entrance test. For 4 year BE/BTech degree admission is given based on the COMEDK UGET/KCET score. For MBA and MCA you will have to write KMAT and for MTech/MArch a valid PGCET/GATE score is needed.Since the counselling is based on merit, if you crack the entrance you can easily get into it.
Hope it helps
All the best!!
Dear aspirant....!!
In order to get admission in this college is through entrance examinations, the following are two possible ways:
• You could write KCET if you're from Karnataka.
• Students from all states including Karnataka can write the COMEDK exam.
• PESU also has their own entrance exam called PESSAT, but the fee per annum is a lot.
KCET has a weird way of assigning seats. Sometimes students with a horrible rank but those availing the reservation quota may end up getting a good branch in the first round. That means someone from GM with a good rank may have lost a seat.
So make sure to get a rank of at least 1500-2500 in KCET to get into CSE, ISE, ECE or Mechanical. If you are availing the reservation quota, I guess you could take it a little easy.
As for COMEDK, there is no such reservation. Slots are allocated based on your rank and you get to choose from the remaining seats. The above being a perk, the fee for a COMEDK seat is more than that of KCET. In order to get into the most happening branches, try securing a rank below 1500 or so and you're go to go.
The rank depends on which stream you'd like to pursue, which you haven't mentioned. So for COMEDK there are PDFs available that show the rank, branch and college selected in the previous years(available on the official website). Look for the most recent ones. You will get a good idea about what rank you'll need to score to get into a particular branch and/or college.
If you're from Karnataka, it's safer to write both COMEDK and KCET. The syllabus for both is almost the same.
If you can't get into RVCE or BMSCE, MSRIT and BIT good options too. But PES University is right at the top according to me, so it would be a great college to go to.
Also, among the following five: PESU, RVCE,BMSCE,MSRIT and BIT, give more preference to your branch than the college.
The key here is to work in the right way and consistently.
Cover the whole syllabus and practice as much as you can. Time your practice sessions if possible as it helps. Try solving previous years' papers and do time them as well. If you're taking coaching classes, you should ty working out their material. If that's too easy then get better material. By the way, you need to hustle. There's no other alternative. Don't abstain from TV, your phone, etc, but do limit them all as much as you can, in order to use that time to prepare. Eat right, sleep well and work consistently
All the best!

Hello Aspirant.
My view on your query is that is depends what actually you are looking for. I suggest you that kindly just don't focus the placement or packages to judge about the college. You should consider the factors like teaching pedagogy, value added skill development programs, faculty and industry interface program. On all these parameters you will find that IMS Ghaziabad is a good option among all these colleges. When it comes to Placements, it totally depends on students quality and training imparted to them and the kind of opportunity which they gets during campus placements. IMS Ghaziabad has wide variety of companies for placements with wonderful salary packages and profiles as well. I am very sure, even if you perform at average, you can expect good placements at IMS Ghaziabad Above all, if you see the scenario of B-Schools in North India, IMS Ghaziabad is GOOD OPTION.
Hope this will help you.
All the best for your future.
