Is nri quta is there for admission in btech courses

BMS College Engineering Bangalore Admission through Management Quota and NRI Quota leftover seats after counseling in a low budget package. Cancelled seats are converted into management quota to join on NRI seats too.

But overall as you can see it has only 30% of the total seats available in BMS College of Engineering for Direct Admission.

What are the requirements for admission

BMSCE offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degrees at undergraduate level. The basic eligibility to these courses is having passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination. B.Arch. is a 5 year course and B.Tech./B.E. degrees have a 4 year duration. Candidates can get the application form from the colleges official website. After filling the form, the candidates have to send the form along with the application fee to BMS Educational Trust, Bull Temple Road, Bangalore.

The B.Tech/B.E. degree is offered in the following specializations:

BiotechnologyChemical EngineeringCivil EngineeringComputer Science and EngineeringElectrical and ElectronicsElectronics and CommunicationIndustrial Engineering and ManagementInformation Science and EngineeringInstrumentation TechnologyMechanical EngineeringMedical ElectronicsTelecommunication Engineering

The following shows the eligibility and selection criteria for UG courses:

The admissions to B.Tech and B.E. courses are granted on the basis of candidates merit in Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET). The entrance test will have 180 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. The exam will have three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will have 60 questions each. The candidates will get 3 hours to complete the exam. There will be no negative marking. However, in the event of a tie in the test score the principle of least negative responses (Number of wrong answers) will be adopted. In addition, if required, other methods may be adopted to break ties. The entrance test is based on the existing syllabus of 10 + 2 / 12th STD / 2nd PUC.

There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course. Candidates seeking admission to B. Arch course shall submit separate application form for counseling as per the notification on COMEDK website (will be made available before counseling).

Kcet ranking for SC student for aeronautical engineering and electronics and communication engineering

well BMS is one of the top college in karnataka while you need have good percentage in the PUC and in case of KCET rank you need have less 7k rank for ECE branch while for aeronatical you should have less than 8k.

What is the college timings(CSE)?

It would be good if you could get the exact schedule of classes from the college but generally timings should be from 9am to 3 or 4pm depending upon the number of classes.

You can definitely gain admission into all colleges after completing 10+2 from NIOS. However, you should have studied required subjects in 10+2 and need to qualify for engineering entrance exam.
