Which is better college for B. Tech CSE, MSRIT or BMSCE?

Subhalaxmi Biswal 5th Jan, 2022

M.S Ramaiah Institute of Technology and B.M.S College of Engineering are both respected and distinguished engineering colleges situated in Bengaluru. Both have the satisfactory infrastructure, well-educated a nd exemplary faculty members, decent placement opportunities.

We can not compare the two colleges as there are some positive and negative aspects of both the colleges.

MSRIT has revamped its syllabus which will help you and has a better rating.

But BMSCE has proper college energy and is located in the main center of Bengaluru city. Its cultural sports, university functions, food are quite famous among the youth.

You can choose the college which you think will be good for you.

I hope it helps.

Thank you.

BMSCE Bangalore vs VIT Pune , ECE in both colleges , Im getting both in their respective counsellings can anyone help me compare them and help in deciding which would be better to take admission into? I live in Gujarat

Jiya Garg 17th Dec, 2021
Greetings !
Both the colleges are good . However there are certain factor to be compare-
  • Ranking- BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore has higher ranking than vishakapatnam institute of technology, Pune.
  • Fees- fees for ece course is higher in vit ,Pune.
  • campus size- Vit, Pune is spreaded over large area.
  • Placement- both the colleges have good placement stats. However BMSCE show higher average package i.e. approx 7 to 8 lakh.
On above basis, BMSCE will be better to opt. Also its position favours the value of incoming company.
All the best.

is aerospace engineering in (bms college of engineering) is good

Ritvik Baweja 28th Nov, 2021

Yes it is a fairly good institution in terms of Aerospace Engineering

However ,RVCE  is little Better than BMSCE in term of academic and placements

It's difficult to tell, as the two schools began aviation branch a year ago , there are no out bunch understudies for the two universities so we can't tell about arrangements . I think RVCE is fairly better school, there's no much contrast between these universities with respect to this branch

So do go for RVCE if it is available otherwise take BMSCE

My CRL in JEE B ARCH 2021 is 19380 and according to my caste OBC-NCL my rank is 6307 ,im very much interested in architecture so will this rank help me in any way to get into the right path? kindly help me.

Ayush Roy 6th Oct, 2021

Hello Abdul. You mentioned you belong to OBC-NCL and you are interested in pursuing B. Arch. Well, based on your category rank, it is less likely for you to get admission to B. Arch in top-rated Government architecture and planning institutes via JoSAA Counselling. As you are an OBC-NCL candidate, you were required to secure a Category Rank within 700.

Although it is hard to predict exact colleges where you may get chance, there is possibility to  get admission at any other Private architecture institute for B. Arch.

To check the previous years' cutoff for JEE Main Paper 2, check out the link given below:
