Between nmit, bmsit and Sirmvit, which is better for ise?

Palak kumari 2nd Jun, 2021

Hey aspirant,

According to my research I guess you should go for SirMVIT as it has better placements for CSE/ISE than both of these colleges.

The highest package offered by SIRMVIT ranges around 14-17lpa and the average package offered is around 6-7lpa.

In bmsit the highest package offered is 8-9lpa for ise and the average ranges around 4-6lpa.

In nmit the highest package offered is 7-9lpa whereas the average ranges around 4.5-5.5lpa.

Hope it helps

Good luck.

Which option is wort it or best for future 1. IT from LPU 2. EEE from bmsit Bangalore

Abhishek Roy 17th Jan, 2021

I believe IT or CSE has a much higher career scope and prospects to ECE or Electrical Engineering as far as Tier 3 and Private Engineering Colleges are concerned.

LPU Punjab has good infrastructure and employer outlook. Most of the Top Mass Recruiters like TCS, Mindtree,Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys visit the campus for recruitment. However, the institute has somewhat a locational disadvantage being located in Phagwara, Punjab and also has stringent faculty and poor research facilities.

As far as BMSIT, is concerned, the huge advantage it commands over LPU is its locational advantage. Being located near IT, Technology and Corporate hubs of Bengaluru provides strong scope and impetus to training and placement prospects. As far as EEE is concerned, there are nearly 85% placements with a median package lying anywhere between 4-8 LPA. You will perhaps have more opportunities when you pass, in Core Electrical Field, Software/IT/Finance, Mass Recruitment Opportunities with Companies like TCS, Infosys and Accenture as well as option to prepare for GATE EE and pursue Masters from some of the highers technical institutes like Top IITs, NITs or BITS Pilani.

Secondly, being affiliated to VTU, Belgaum the BMSIT Bangalore has a strong curriculum and provides effective engineering education. Bangalore itself provides a very vibrant campus life and competitive peer environment.

Hence, I believe BMSIT might just prove to be a better option in your case, contrary to the first line of my answer.

which college is better for ISE BMSIT or NMIT

darshita 30th Dec, 2020

Hello,

BMSIT

  • The B.M.S. Institute of Technology and Management is a private engineering college in Bangalore.
  • It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
  • Its a good College with modern infrastructure, highly qualified and committed faculty, and active industry engagement.
  • There are seven VTU recognised research centres in BMSIT Bangalore where 40 research scholars are working in diverse research areas.
  • Product-based companies like Amazon, Direct, Mind tree, and some start-up companies  visit the campus for recruitment.
  • The average salary package offered is 5-6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 22 LPA.
  • The placement are good here.

NMIT

  • Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
  • The highest salary package offered in the CS department was 30 LPA, while lowest would be 3 lakh.
  • Almost 30 to 45% of the students got internships in companies like Wipro and TCS. The top role offered is an architect of a division in a company.
  • Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, IBM, Dell, Unisys, Wipro etc.
  • The other facilities are average though.

Lastly out of these two BMSIT is better because of facilities and infrastructure.

But placement are good in both Colleges.

I am getting ece in banglore institue of Technology in 2 round comedk should I place cs and is branch of sirmvit, jss mysore , nie mysore and bmsit before ece of bit for 3 round???

Abhishek Roy 23rd Dec, 2020

I believe studying in Bangalore has its own advantages. Being located near IT hubs you have huge scope and impetus in training and placements. I would suggest you to continue with ECE at BIT Bangalore, unless you are deeply interested in CSE then you may prefer NIE Mysore over BIT Bangalore.

Both the institutes have great infrastructure, faculty and other facilities and enjoy a great employer outlook with most of the Top Companies headquartered in and around Bangalore visiting them for Placements. However, BIT Bangalore is an edge above NIE Mysore when placements are concerned being one of the best colleges through COMEDK after RVCE, MSRIT and BMSCE.

Highest package offered is 30Lakhs per annum, Lowest package offered is 3Lakhs per annum and average package offered is 6-8Lakhs per annum.
