is it possible for a person, who has written her +2 in private, to join in BNYS course

Subhalaxmi Biswal 1st Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you will be eligible for BNYS even if you took your +2 exam in private. But you need to have Biology at 10+2 with 50% or more in PCB.

Aspirants with Physics, Chemistry and Biology at 10+2 are not eligible for admission in any medical courses like; BNYS, MBBS, BAMS, etc. The maximum age limit is 25 years. Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (B.N.Y.S.) is comparable to any Medical Degree course (M.B.B.S., B.A.M.S., B.H.M.S., B.U.M.S., etc.) with Medical registry.

B.N.Y.S. graduates are Registered Doctors. The qualified learners passing out from a  college earn their Central Degree Registration from CCRYN (Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy), Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. The B.N.Y.S. program is certified by U.G.C. The duration of the course is 5.5 years (Five and Half years) which includes  4.5 years of course and  1 year of mandatory rotational internship. B.N.Y.S. have permission to treat victims. Qualified naturopathy Doctors, who studied under formal education furnished by Naturopathy Colleges are enrolled in State Medical Boards. They are permitted under state AYUSH councils to deal with patients.

Regards.
