If any one get high mark in neet but fail in 12th board exam so he/she will be selected for neet or not

shivamtrivedi0005 24th Aug, 2022

Hello Rudra

One cannot join a Medical College is he/she clears NEET but fails in Class 12 examination.

According to the Medical Council of India rules, it is mandatory for a candidate from General category to score 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in Class 12th to be eligible to be considered for MBBS admission.

I hope this answers your question.

Hello,

----- It is very likely that NTA will keep the 75% eligibility criteria for JEE Mains 2023. So the candidates who have scored more than 75% in Boards will only be eligible for JEE Mains Examination.

---- The eligibility criteria for JEE Mains Examination is as following -

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a recognised board.

• The candidates should have qualified in 5 subjects:

1) Any Language subject

2) Mathematics

3) Physics

4) Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject

5) Any other subject

• For B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Plan admissions in IIITs, NITs and CFITs

Candidates should have secured minimum 75% marks (65% for SC/ST category candidates) or should fall under the top 20 percentile of their respective boards.

• For B.Arch admission in institutes other than IIITs, NITs and CFITs

Candidates should have scored 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent

------- The JEE Mains conducting authority, National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to conduct JEE Main 2023 exam twice. The authorities will release the application form of JEE Main 2023 at jeemain.nta.nic.in tentatively in November 2022.

------ Joint Entrance Examination 2023 is likely to be held in January and April 2023

For complete details about the JEE Mains Examination, Eligibility criteria, paper pattern, syllabus and other very important details kindly check the link given below -

I have secured 69.9% in 12 th board exam. (state board) And I couldnt secure good mark in jee main also. So, i decided to drop a year. if I have cleared the jee main 2023 am I eligible for jee advance 2023? can anyone tell me about this?

Ankit Modanwal 21st Aug, 2022

Hello Student,

Eligibility criteria for JEE Advance Examination are:

  • Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE Main Exam.
  • A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) maximum of two times in two consecutive years. Lets understand these with example, If the student has completed his/her class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2021 then he/she will be able to give Jee Advance Exam in the year 2021 & year 2022 only. Later on he/she will not be able to appear in the Examination.

Be Consistent with the study & be self confident.

Hope This Information helps you a lot.

Best Wishes!

i was unable to give cbse class12 board exam both theory practical(due to helath issues). can in apply as a private candidate?

Jini bibi 23rd Aug, 2022

The candidate need only show up for the theory paper in courses where there is a distinction between the practical and theoretical marks; the practical marks will be carried over.

He will need to retake both the practical and theory segments of the exam if he fails both of them.

A student who did not pass the class 10th or class 12th board test may reapply as a private candidate or as an enrolled regular student.

Visit www.cbse.nic.in (http://www.cbse.nic.in) for further information.

i got 62 percentage in board exam 2022. and I got 88 percentail jee mains 2022 and I am st category.am I eligible for nit

Sach Thadani 18th Aug, 2022

Greetings!

The truth needs to be told and the truth is that you are NOT eligible for IIT/NIT. The criteria for NITs/IITs for ST category is that you must have greater than 65% in your board examination, or you must be in top 20 percentile in boards( which if you have less than 65 % is highly unlikely).

This leaves you with two options, one is to take a drop and first appear for improvement exam in boards and then again appear for JEE in next year and take admission in college according to that percentile.

The second option is to look for private colleges that don't have such criteria or who have more liberal criteria for boards, for that you can use the following predictor

Hi,

You just need to give the exams for the concerned two subjects in which you have got RT. There is no need to give exam for all of your subjects, you can just fill the form for the two subjects only.

Im a NEET dropper , preparing for 2023. I answered my board exam in 2022 and scored 65% although I didnt gave neet this year coz my preparation was not good. Now I have joined a coaching but I think I wont be able to do it. How can I get admission in bsc biotechnology? Plz guide me.

Aakanksha 13th Aug, 2022
Hi aspirant
First of all, ahy do you think you can't do it. You have still got so much of time. You just have to study. This is so much better than any other course you are thinking of right. I'm pretty sure that once you determine and face everything with courage you'll eventually succeed. You just have to work harder and smarter. I might say all this but it's gonna be you who has to perform, who has to study. So I would say take another thought and then turn to what your mind says.
Now, BSc Biotechnology is an undergraduate degree programme. It is 3 years long. It if offered by various universities in the country.
Admission to it can be merit based or entrance based
Entrance exams conducted by various universities are:
  • DUET
  • KIITEE
  • SAAT
  • KCET

However BSc Biotechnology admission is primarily done on the basis of merit list. Few of the top colleges/universities conduct entrance exams to carry out the admission process smoothly.
Now, how to apply for admission to BSc Biotechnology.
Colleges offering merit-based admission release the cutoff marks for the students based on their merit. They consider the entrance exam score for cut-off.
After a successful counselling session, students will get selected and have to take final admission for which one may be required to go through the GD/PI round.
The candidate has to finalize the admission by presenting relevant documents and by paying the admission fee.
Here are some of the top BSc Biotechnology colleges:

  • Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi
  • Fergusson College,Pune
  • St. Xaviers College, Ahmedabad
  • Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Jaipur
  • JSS Academy of Higher Studies and Research, Mysore

Hope this helps you
All the best :)
