sir in my 12 th board exam I get ( theory=09/70 & practical=28/30 ) total37 marks , but in my result there shows that the minimum passing marks for PCB is (in theory)21 so am I eligible for NEET exam.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2022

Hi

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but you are not eligible for Neet examination.

This is because,

To be eligible for Neet you must pass individually in both theory and practical examination in physics chemistry and Biology but with 09 marks in  theory you have failed in theory examination and thus failed in that subject and so failed in fulfilling the very criteria of passing PCB, hence not eligible as Neet eligibility criteria says that :-

To be eligible one should  pass 12th board examination with PCB i. e physics, chemistry,biology/biotechnology and English, should have passed both the  practical and theory examination individually  in PCB and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

-------------------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .

  • Upper age limit :-There's no upper age limit for NEET. Earlier there was upper age limit  of 25 years which was pending in supreme court, on 9th march 2022 NMC in its notice has removed upper age limit. --------------------) There's no attempt limit for neet.

is 75percentage in board exam is required to join in top iit n engineering college with jee rank

thakurvishesh1 31st Jul, 2022

To minimize the academic loss the students have suffered, all the Indian Institute of Technologies and National Institute of Technologies along with National Testing Agency have decided to scrape off the 75% criteria in the board examinations. So, now you can get admission into the IITs or NITs even if you haven't scored a minimum of 75% in your board exams, provided you scored enough in JEE.

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

i scored 259 (pcm) in board exam and 61(pcm) marks in kcet 2022 how much rank can i score in kcet2022

Anurag Khanna 21st Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

As the rank Vs marks keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as :

** Number of candidates appeared for examination.

** Top score for that particular year.

** Total number of seats available.

And some more factors, therefore your actual rank in KCET 2022 might vary with slight variations.

As per the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank in KCET 2022 is expected to be in the range of  10000-20000 .

But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of previous year's data.

You can use KCET 2022 College Predictor toll to predict the colleges that you can get based upon your KCET 2022 rank. You can use KCET College predictor from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

my school thretens me to come school daily but i am jee aspirant.. how much attendence will be satisfactory in class 12 so that i can get board exam admit card... my current attendence 22days/42 days.. lets say school is open for about 190 days how many days i need to go?

subaashbala 22nd Jun, 2022
Hello Aspirant,
As per the information provided by you, you have gone to school for 22 days out of 42 working days which is only 52.38% attendance. You claim that, 190 more working days to go, which counts to a total of 232 working days in the whole academic year.  I order to appear for the board exam, you ought to have a minimum of 75% attendance.  So, a students should attend 174 classes out of the total classes(232 working days). In your case, as 22days were attended and 42 days were over, by doing simple math I could recommend you to attend your classes for 152 more days .

Proof for which 152 days are enough:

Previously attended=22 days
Classes to attend=152 days
Sum=174 days
Total number of classes in the academic year=232
Percentage calculation=> (174*100)/232 yields, 75%

I strongly recommend you to attend classes for atleast 160 more days (you can avail leave for 30 days) to be eligible for your board exam.

Hii i got 72percent in state board exam in 2022. should I take a drop for jee. or bsc. but i want to pursue engineering.but i dont have 75percent then also should I take drop.

Brijnandan675 31st Jul, 2022

Hyy,

Hope you are doing well!

I think opting for Bsc is not bad at all as it will act as a backup plan. But if you are really interested in engineering then i would suggest you to drop a year and prepare thoroughly for the exam. Considering the fact that most of the students at top IITs and NITs are droppers, dropping might be a good option.

You can take the career360 JEE mains Knockout course as it has best lectures and modules. Here's the link to that.

Hope this will help and i wish you best for the journey ahead

ashitabaksi04 20th Jun, 2022

Hello Student!

There is good news for you. Following the pandemic, the exam conducting body for JEE has decided that the students appearing for the exam this year, are eligible for the exam irrespective of their 12th class percentage. It means your 12th class percentage will not be a barrier in your JEE entrance exam.

Hope this answer helped resolve your query. All the best for your exams.

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing absolutely great.

So with regard to your query, in the improvements exam for the HSC the question will be totally different from the actual board exam. Sometimes the level of the question paper will be tough than the actual board exam and sometimes it will be low. It depends.

Thank you!!
