I plan to go to kota for iit-jee preparation after my class 12 board exams in 2021 so i want to know which coaching institute would be the best and how to get admission into it for regular classrom programmes

Parmeshwar Suhag 10th Nov, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

There are a lot of coaching institutes in Kota like Allen, Bansal Classes, Resonance, Vibrant Academy, Career Point, Motion Academy, Akash Institute, Nucleus Education etc.

But I am suggesting you top 2 institutes for IIT-JEE preparation. The one is Allen and 2nd one is Nucleus Education.

Taking the case of Allen , here you will find great teachers having a lot of experience. You can also check Allen past results for IIT-JEE. These are brilliant. Way of teaching is very nice. They will teach you as per syllabus.

Now coming to the Nucleus Education, this is started just a few years ago by the past top HOD's of Allen .They break from Allen and started their own institute. Records of selections are very nice. In just 1-2 years they make in top 20 in JEE Advance. India's top teachers are in this institute.

To get admission to these institutes , you have to visit their official websites. They have mentioned the batches for 13th. You can admit into any batch of your choice.

Hope it helps.

In my hand I have left with 4 months for preparation, Im in 12th currently, my dream is to become a doctor. My 11th was also not that effective. Please suggest me either i shoud concentrate on board exams 2021 or NEET 2021, becz its impossible to do both. I still have faith in god and in me.

Parmeshwar Suhag 7th Nov, 2020

Dear student,

Its very nice that you have faith in yourself. But I am telling you that you can complete both 12th and NEET sidewise . You don't have to do NEET or 12th alone.

  • First of all you have to make a proper time table for studies.
  • Leave the mobile phone or social media for 1 year.
  • Study atleast 10-12 hrs a day.
  • Make prper notes of each chapter in all three subjects. These note will also be effective for your 12th.
  • solve mock tests
  • solve previous years papers of NEET approx 40-50 , it will boost your confidence.

I am suggesting you some top books . Following thses books will cover both your 12th and NEET sidewise.  So in a single year both your NEET and 12th will complete.

Physics :

  • NCERT
  • Objective Physics by DC Pandey
  • Physics by SL Arora

Chemistry :

  • NCERT
  • Organic Chemistry by MS Chauhan
  • Chemistry by OP Tondon

Biology :

  • NCERT
  • Biology by Truemans
  • NCERT at your fingertips

Best of luck.

Ritik goyal 4th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

From above 75%  board marks you are not eligible to write jee advanced exam you are eligible only for giving jee mains exam from where you can get admission in NIT or IIIT or GFTI's and if you qualify the jee mains exam then you are eligible to write jee advanced exam from where you can get admission in IIT college.

If you can get more than 75% in boards then after you can write jee mains exam.

if i get a 75 percent in 12th board exams will i be placed in IIT or NIT?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 4th Nov, 2020
Hello,

75% aggregate in qualifying exam is the eligibility criteria to be eligible to get admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs. The admission in NITs is based on merit in JEE main and for admission to IITs it is based on marks scored in JEE advanced so scoring 75% in class 12th will not help you to get admission in NIT or IIT. You need to apply for JEE main and appear for it and qualify in it to get admission in NIT and candidates qualifying JEE main will be eligible to appear for JEE advanced you need to qualify JEE Advanced to get seat in IITs.
If you are preparing for JEE main 2021 then you can use our JEE main knockout to help you with the preparation

sir in upsee i got OBC rank 19254 and general rank 55000 but i dont clear chemistry exam in 12th but i repeat that one in 2021 board exams because sir i have 6 subjects in PCM but 5 subjects is clear chemistry is not clear and the result is pass can i take admission in btech cse??

myidshivanisrivastava 26th Oct, 2020

Hello Keshav,

According to the Eligibilty Criteria of UPSEE, the candidate must have passed the qualifying exam (10+2) from UP Board or any other equivalent Board, with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate in three subjects, out of which Mathematics and Physics are compulsory, and the third subject is optional (Chemistry/Bio Technology/Biology / Technical Vocational subject), which in your case is Chemistry . Also, qualifying exam should be passed without any grace marks.

So, in your case, I think it is not possible to get admission in CSE branch in AKTU colleges. However, if there is any provision under management quota in any college, you can go for it.

For more details, you can visit the following link:

Hope this is helpful to you. You may ask if you have any other queries.

All the best!!

do college terminal exams marks matter for 12 hsc board exams?

Siddhi Shenoy 24th Oct, 2020

Hi Ayush,

The terminal or the internal tests conducted before your boards (which is probably out of 20 marks) is included in the final marksheet of your board exam. Basically, boards are out of 100 marks, out of which 20 marks are scored in the internal or the mid term tests that you have and remaining marks are for theory and practical you answer during boards. Note that, your prelims marks do not really matter for boards. It is just for your practice and to prepare you for boards.
