for open category cutoff is 270 for class 6. for home state quota category, cutoff is 205-225 for general category . if your son have any reservation quota then he may get an admission.

you are having your boards exams till 5th then I will suggest you to have your 1st priority towads your boards. After that you should start for JEE. As while boards in physics chemistry and Mathematics your 12th topics for JEE will definitely get revised.
