EBC is the certificate given for the backward classes and  EWS certificate is for general category they have different formats .

EBC certificate is valid only for the state level exam if you are applying for national level exam you should use either OBC NCL or EWS Certificate

Hi, your latest marks and details are considered. So, even if you cracked the marks and decide that you wish to apply through other board of schooling then the other board score card is valid and not the state board. So, you will have to mention NIOS during the admission
