Generally CGPA conversion is different for different Boards but for 8.73 cgpa you are in top 20 percentile and your jee mains percentile is also good wait for september results you have chances of getting into NITs, IIITs.

If I look to the Andhra Pradesh board 2019 result it was a better as compare to previous years . If you have got 8.73 CGPA then you are not in top 20 percentile my dear friend.

Hence, if you are giving JEE Mains in 2020 then you can give it without 75% of marks but as you have passed your 12th board in 2020 so we can not say anything because the percentage criteria is
