Dear students ,

Don't worry if you have wasted your 11th and 12th years . Many students because of covid were not able to study properly.
If you feel you can get better rank by taking a drop for a year, then I think you should take a drop.

To eligible to apply for NEET UG a candidate must have passed or appearing 10+2 with English, Biology/Bio-Technology, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board. Candidates belonging to general category must have scored minimum 50% marks aggregate in Biology/Bio-Technology, Physics and Chemistry taken together including practical and theory examination.

Yes you will be eligible for JEE-Advance provided that you qualify JEE-Main of that year as well, this is because one needs to have at least 75% in class 12th or equivalent examination and you have 83% so you are definitely eligible for it.
